No bosses around are there?

Well this thread is about how fucked up work is for us minions on the ground earning the bosses $$$.

Isn't that all F'ed up? We work and they think they can tell US how to do our jobs? You know what I have to say to them????

Yeah, a pretty useless rant, but I'm a newbie and just getting started.

All rant's are useful - it releases pent up anger and allows you to blow off steam.

This is always a good thing.

Certainly it beats looking for a clock tower or wandering around with an axe because you've cracked from bottling it all up.:eek:

It's always therapeutic to express your feelings and to know that there are others out there that also feel the same and understand what you're going through...

Besides all that - a lot of the time, there is TRUTH in rants. Even if only from the point of view of the person writing the rant... How does it go again? "Perception IS reality" ?

Well you see my friend its the circle of jerk off commonly known as upper-management, when a boss feels un-secure and maybe a little roid-rage 'n' such he feels he needs to make his magic penis/ego inflate a bit so he rants and raves and makes people sad and yells at big boned teenages in hallways and genarally goes on a fking rampage and that causes a memo and that causes people to fking hate life/work.... and thats the story of how the workplace/place of workingness works sort of... pretty ghey and trying to make you kill yourself since the wheel was invented :D

And thats the story of how my freind was beaten by three midgets in a bar, thank you for watching children.

Lets look at this another way

The boss works 70+ hours a week to start the company, finance it, put his house and assets on the line and often struggles for years on low pay, minimal profits and the risk of the company working or not.

Often the staff dont care about the company at all apart from their pay check. They turn up late, expect to be paid to chat on the phone, surf the net, want to be paid for sickies so they can take a day off and then want pay rises for just showing up. They have no risk, nothing on the line and then think they are hard done by when the boss askes them to do the job they were hired to do and are doing it poorly.

If it wasnt for staff and customers owning a business would be great :D

my comments and i believe previous comments were not against small family owned busniness operators but against massive companies that are by all rights just a massive hive of faceless drones that have no emotion whatsoever, but then again i gotta say the fact that everyone one of the faceless drones in the company are each an individual human puts in a small bit of perspective and humans generally get it all wrong so... meh.

Meh fk it i still think 18$ an hr for getting my balls busted sucks :/

...and i doubt any boss in a massive company works 70h+ a week, but family owned business's ive heard of people basically living there so fk em o_0
