BTW: love the concept of the site great to have somewhere to vent for I am merely a generally reserved person :tongue:

P.s : Site either needs more smiley's or I need to learn how to use them ... hmmm hang a sec ... WTF when I press more nothing happen :curse:

Can you not SEE the smilies list when you click more? If not, why not?

Hehe - There IS one rant in the Rage Boards... but as Marty said - early days yet. I still need to transfer across my rants from my other site yet...

Oh be still! While I've been doing this, I've also been backing up the data for the main server in preperation to the format and OS reinstall that needs to be done.

The backups, which incidentally were completed earlier today, and now I simply need to do a final rsync to copy any changes since the back-up was completed (takes 10-30mins to update as opposed to the 20+hrs to DO the back-up originally) and I can signal the Colo to go ahead and do the wipe/reinstall.

Not sure how long it will take them to do that, and then it'll take a day or two to get the data xfered back and the server reconfigured and operating again - which WILL mean an interuption to all Web and Mail on the box until it's completed and the box is back running as it should...

I've got two days off over the weekend, I'm hoping they can get it done then, or failing that, I'll ask them to schedule it for when I've got my three days off later next week...

I'll keep you advised anyway - after all you do own the server! :D
