Bad news for Cat lovers...
It was reported (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1244106/Cat-boarded-bus-day-years-killed-hit-run.html)earlier this week that Casper the bus riding cat was killed in a hit & run accident as he crossed the road to catch his morning ride.:rip:
The well-traveled moggy is estimated to have clocked up around 20,000 miles of traveling the same bus route over the past 5 years, but despite this, was said to have had no road sense.
A fact which it seems, finally caught up with him.
Some BASTARD motorist hit and killed Casper as he was crossing the road and DIDN'T EVEN STOP.:driver:
Now - Casper IS a cat, but even so - HAVE A HEART YOU PRICK!! If you hit something, at least stop and see if you can help it, don't just leave it lying there, possibly in extreme pain and agony, to die!
Anyway - Casper is now more like his namesake. DEAD. :saint:
But also like his namesake, he is not forgotten by his owner, the Bus line which carried him daily, or the hundreds of British commuters who he made smile by 'WTF?? There's a CAT on the bus!!'
